Offcode has a tremendous experience in developing, customizing and fine-tuning the Linux kernel. There's quite a few upstream commits included in the Linux kernel itself - developed by our engineers. For more than ten years we have developed new kernel device drivers, fixed problems, enhanced existing functionalities and tuned the configurations to meet the needs. Our network of contacts also include some Linux kernel subsystem maintainers who we might consult occasionally to keep everybody happy and confident.
Linux usespace libraries, hardware abstraction layers (HALs), scripts, tools and applications are utilized and developed on daily basis. Although the Linux distros generally contain the most, there are always some specific needs that require even more than what's available.
